From the first wooden “wheels” characterized by the classic sound of the spinning ball to online casinos, roulette’s appeal has remained virtually unchanged over the centuries. From the earliest physical casinos to online casinos, roulette has undoubtedly always been the queen of gaming rooms.
With the arrival of technology, the classic wheel moved into the virtual world and gained worldwide fame. At the beginning of the 90s, thanks to the advent of the Internet, the first online casinos began to spread and with them, of course, the famous roulette, both in French and American versions.

French Roulette
The French variant is the most widespread in the world: composed of numbers from 0 to 36 and differs from the American and English because in case of exit of the number 0, the bets “simple chance” are “imprisoned”. In Europe, sometimes, however, there is the possibility, in case of exit of the 0, to share with the bank: for example, if you have bet on red 20 pieces and comes out zero, you withdraw from the table 10 pieces leaving the rest to the bank. In French roulette, there are three croupiers, and ads are used, which are given a separate space on the carpet.
English Roulette
English roulette is almost the same as French roulette, but it does not have the “en prison” rule, and when the zero comes out, the bets on simple chances are halved.

American Roulette
American roulette is composed of a thirty-eighth box, the double zero, which is diametrically opposed to the zero. The numbers are distributed in a different way; at the exit of the zero, the simple chances lose, and the announcements do not exist if not in some sporadic exception. At the Casino of Saint-Vincent, for example, croupiers at American roulette accept special ads called Silver, Gold, American, Small and Side numbers.
